Your first recording
Record a meeting, a class or a call, and get the notes when you finish.
Taad records what you hear and say, writes it down as people talk, and turns it into notes when you finish. Nobody joins your call: it all happens on your own device.

Open Taad
Use the app for your computer (Install Taad), or open Taad in your browser: there's nothing to install.
Press Record
Choose New recording, or Record in the ask box on Home. Taad shows where it will record before it starts, so you can check you're in the right workspace.
Pick what to hear
Microphone + computer sound hears you and the people on the call, whatever app it's in. For a meeting in the room, your microphone is enough. See Mic and computer sound.
Talk
The words appear as they're said, with who said them, and the key points build up on the side. Write your own notes in the box at the bottom, or Mark this moment to find it again later.
Finish
Press Finish recording, then Finish. Taad tells the voices apart and writes the summary, the notes and the to-dos; you can watch it happen.
Tell people you're recording
Recording laws differ from country to country, and saying so at the start is the respectful thing to do. See Recording consent.

- Summaries and notes: what you get when you finish.
- Speakers: put names to the voices.
- Connect your calendar: see what's coming up, and record it in one tap.
