Speakers

Who said what. Taad tells the voices apart, and you name them once.

Taad tells the voices in a recording apart and labels each turn with who said it. Until you name someone they're Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on.

A recording in progress: each turn of the transcript under its speaker's name, and how much each person has spoken

Name a speaker

Open the recording's Speakers panel and choose Rename beside a voice, or name it from the transcript. Every line that voice said takes the name.

From the same panel you can:

  • Mark which voice is yours, so the notes know what you said and promised.
  • Join two voices that are really one person.

The same voice, the same person

Once you've named a voice, Taad recognises it in later recordings, so a regular colleague is named for you.

While you record

The live transcript shows who's speaking as it happens, and the side shows how much each person has talked so far.
