Recording
Mic and computer sound
Record you and everyone on the call, in any meeting app, with no bot.
On a computer, Taad can hear two things at once: your microphone, and the sound your computer plays. Together they're the whole meeting, whatever app it's in: Zoom, Meet, Teams, a phone call on your laptop. Nobody joins the call and nobody has to admit a bot.
Choose the source
When you start a recording, pick what Taad hears:
| Source | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Microphone + computer sound | Online meetings and calls: you, and everyone you hear |
| Your microphone | A meeting in the room, a class, a voice note |
| Meeting on speakers | A call played out loud in the room, heard through the microphone |
In the browser, Taad records your microphone, or a browser tab's sound when you choose to share it.
Good to know
- Headphones are fine. With computer sound on, Taad hears the call even when only you can.
- Recording goes on if the internet drops. It's kept on your device and sent when you're back online. See Recording offline.
- Several devices, one meeting. Record the same meeting on more than one device and it's still one recording.
If Taad can't hear something, see Sound problems.
