Security
Locked on your device, before it goes anywhere.
How recordings are protected
- Encrypted on your device. Every recording gets its own key, made on your device, before the first second leaves it.
- Encrypted in storage. It stays encrypted in storage and in backups.
- In the European Union. Recordings, notes and their backups are stored in Western Europe.
- Backed up. Your data is backed up continuously, with a second copy kept apart.
Who can see what
| Who | What they can see |
|---|---|
| You | Everything you record, on every device you sign in on |
| People you share with | The recording you shared, and only that |
| Your organization's admins | Seats and usage, never recordings, transcripts or notes |
| Your own AI, if you connect it | Only what you allow, as you; it can never delete |
Our servers open a recording only to transcribe it and write your notes.
Your account
- Passkeys. Sign in with your fingerprint or face, or with a code sent by email.
- Your devices. See every device signed in under Settings › Devices, and remove one: it's wiped the next time it connects.
- Delete for good. Delete a recording, its audio and its notes whenever you like. See Your data.
For companies
A security overview and a data processing agreement are on the way. Write to us at [email protected] if you need them.
