<Accordions type="single">

<Accordion title="Does a bot join my meetings?">
  No. Taad records on your own device: your microphone and the sound your computer plays. Nothing joins the call.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Should I tell people I'm recording?">
  Yes. Recording laws differ by country, and saying so at the start is the respectful thing to do. See [Recording consent](/legal/recording-consent).
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Which languages does it understand?">
  60, even mixed in one meeting. The notes are written in the language you spoke, or the one you choose. The app itself speaks 13 languages.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What if my connection drops?">
  Recording goes on: it's kept on your device and sent when you're back online.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I import a recording I already have?">
  Yes: audio and video files, and subtitles (SRT, VTT). See [Import a file](/help-center/audio-recording/import-files).
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Do you keep my audio?">
  Yes, encrypted, so you can listen back to any moment. You can delete a recording and its audio whenever you like.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Who can open my recordings?">
  You, on your devices, and anyone you share one with. In an organization, admins see seats and usage, never recordings, transcripts or notes. See [Security](/legal/security).
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What counts toward my weekly hours?">
  The time you record or import, and anything you have transcribed again. Your hours start over every Monday. If you run out, new recordings wait until Monday, or you can move to a plan with more hours.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What happens when my plan ends?">
  You move to Free and keep everything you recorded.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="When are the Mac and phone apps out?">
  Soon. Until then, the web version works in any browser, on a phone too.
