# A summary's focus (/help-center/notes-and-ai/rewrite-focus)

A long meeting covers many things. When you only care about one of them, ask for a summary about that alone.

## How [#how]

1. Open the recording's **Summary**.
2. Choose **Rewrite**, then type what it should be about under **Only about**, in your own words: "the launch", "anything about hiring", "what Maya asked for".
3. Choose **Rewrite**.

Taad writes the summary again from the transcript, about that and nothing else. A chip under the summary shows the focus it's keeping to.

## Going back [#going-back]

The full summary isn't lost: the last ten versions are kept, so you can switch back any time, or rewrite without a focus.
